For 50 years, The Summit Center has given hope to Western New York families affected by autism and developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Our aim is to help everyone we serve achieve the highest level of independence possible.

Summit is considered a Center of Excellence, serving more than 1,000 children and young adults through Early Intervention & Education, Behavioral Health, Community, and Adult programs and services.

The Summit Center's Autism Walk, presented by West Herr, is a community-wide effort to raise funds in support of Summit's programs and services in Western New York. It enables people like you to be a part of something truly life-changing for families affected by autism. Register your whole family to walk in honor of your child, student, neighbor, or friend.

Since the Walk began, the event has positively impacted thousands of families. With your support, we can continue to raise crucial funds to benefit critical programs and services.

Over the past 20 years, the prevalence of autism has continued to increase. As the need for our services continues to grow, so do we. Proceeds from our annual Walk are used to cover the gaps in reimbursement rates for our programs and services. There is no out-of-pocket cost to families for the majority of our programs and services. Our mission is to maximize success for the individuals we serve. Without these fundraising dollars many of our programs and services could not operate.
